For over 2 decades Michael has been playing music and doing art work for local bands.  Here is where you'll find some of the highlights from his older days…

In 2018 and 2020 his 2 alt-country solo albums were nominated for “Best Country Album” in the New Mexico Music Awards.  He also had 2 songs from those albums selected by legendary drummer Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty, Duran Duran, Stevie Nicks, Johnny Cash) to play on his SIRIUS XM “Tom Petty Radio” channel show in 2018 and 2019. Additionally, he received airplay in several places, including in New Orleans on NOLA County/WHIV radio where Ameripolitan Award winning DJ Jimi Palacios played 6 cuts off of “Heartbreakers Rodeo” on his program. 

Ye Olden Times

Travel back over 2-plus decades of musical history with this “Ye Olden Times” gallery.  It features moments spanning back to the Breaker 19 days in the early 2000's, to the Lovers&Leavers days, through the beginnings of the Easy Sinners.  Enjoy the regrettable hat choices, the fashion faux pas and lots of great memories.

Nominated for "Best Country Album" at the 2018 New Mexico Music Awards, "LUCK" is Michael Moxey's debut solo album. Here are some selected cuts, featuring the weepy classic pedal steel sounds of "Honky Tonk Specials," the laments of hard honky tonk living on "Faded Waylon Tshirt," and the panoramic sounds of "Highway Lights."
